Privacy and Your Saved Palettes

How your colors are processed, what this browser saves and which controls you have.

Your colors are processed locally

Color calculations and file generation happen in your browser. This version has no login, server database, remote conversion service, analytics service or AI connection. Entering a color or palette name does not send it to ColorPairLab.

What this browser remembers

The key colorpairlab.preferences.v1 remembers your light or dark theme. The key colorpairlab.palettes.v1 holds up to 30 saved palettes, including working labels and locks. Browser restrictions, private browsing or cleared data can make storage unavailable. Download a JSON backup before clearing data or switching devices.

Back up or clear your collection

Delete one saved palette or choose Clear saved palettes to remove the ColorPairLab collection. Clearing it leaves your theme preference and unrelated data alone. You can still export the current palette if saving fails. Imported JSON is checked before you confirm a replacement or collection merge.

CSS, JSON and SVG files are generated when you request them. A share link contains only two to eight hex values, leaving out palette names and role notes. Anyone with the link, and software running on the page that opens it, can read those colors. Do not include information you need to keep private.

Page requests and optional services

Loading a page makes ordinary hosting requests, which may reveal the requested path and network address to the host. Advertising and analytics are disabled in this version. If advertising is added later, this page will need to explain the providers and consent settings first. The workbench is designed to remain free of third-party scripts.
