Using the tools and palettes
ColorPairLab is a free color reference and editing tool. You can use its original palette examples and generated color values in your projects. CSS color names and numerical facts refer to public standards; proprietary color-card systems are outside the tool’s scope.
Check the finished design
A contrast result applies to the exact foreground, background and text category shown. It does not certify a website or replace a full accessibility review. Check the actual font, component states, keyboard behavior and surrounding colors before relying on the result.
Your files and local collection
You choose the names, colors and files you create. Keep a backup of important work: a browser collection can be cleared and does not sync between devices. Portable JSON keeps the color values and swatch IDs; save role notes alongside it.
Sources and licenses
The linked standards explain the names and calculations. Third-party software and fonts retain their own licenses; the notices are included with the site and source repository. These tools do not grant rights to another party’s logos, proprietary palettes or other material.
